ABOUT US

Dr. Benjamin Eroen graduated from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California in 2012, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with high honors. He also achieved membership in the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society in recognition of his academic and clinical excellence in pursuit of his doctorate. His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Redlands, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and played 4 years of varsity football and baseball.

Dr. Eroen started in private practice as an associate with Dr. Wheeler upon graduation from dental school in 2012 and has benefitted greatly from the growth and experience garnered working under a mentor as committed to excellence as Dr. Wheeler. He also practices in Avalon, on Santa Catalina Island, where he grew up and feels grateful for the opportunity of serving his hometown community.

Dr. Eroen continues to pursue excellence in his craft through his work towards a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, in addition to various other lectures and courses in continuing education. He strives to create a comfortable environment for his patients, believing that the more a patient understands about their oral health and dental care, the less anxiety and fear surrounds their dental appointments. He practices under the principle of belief that nothing is ever as good as the natural design of the tooth so being as conservative as possible and encouraging patients to maintain optimal oral health is of utmost importance.
